Conditions and Terms:

Account Types: A student account is limited to a single user, single experiment, and does not include web recruiting. 

Account Type Eligibility: Student discount is only available for self-funded student research without any sponsor. Non-profit Research is defined as research which is driven by academic interest, aiming to make results public, and not being directly executed on behalf of a “for-profit” sponsor or delivered as part of commercial service. To qualify for a discount, we may ask for a confirmation letter signed by your supervisor or a representative of your academic institution.

Test Run: A test run is defined as the execution of one task paradigm or experiment script presented to a test participant and collecting data. Cognition Lab provides a test user name which allows you to develop and validate test designs without using up your purchased test runs. Test runs require an active account and will expire when account goes inactive.

Volume Discount: Test fees depend on account type and quantity ordered. The discount tiers are 1-100: 100%, 101-250: 90%, 251-500:80%, 501-750:70%, 751-1000:60%, 1000<:50%.

Study Duration: The study duration determines the number of month your account will be active. The minimum length is 3 month. You will need an active account for setup, prototyping, and data collection. Data can be downloaded anytime after a session is completed.

Data Storage: All data and experiment configurations are accessible during the purchased timeframe. After account expiration, data will be deleted after one month. It is your responsibility to backup and archive your data by downloading results in CSV format.
